Engineering a mobile-first fan engagement platform for MotoGP

7 minute read

Let's talk

Tifansi is building on the established audience and engagement generated through the Official MotoGP mobile games, creating additional ways for fans to participate, engage and be rewarded. It needed an engineering partner capable of designing a mobile-first platform that could scale with race-day demand while supporting rapid product innovation.

The Problem

The Official MotoGP mobile games already provide an established digital participation channel for a large, passionate global fan base. Tifansi saw an opportunity to build on that foundation with a scalable mobile platform that connects gameplay, fan identity, participation, content and rewards, while protecting fan data and supporting in-app subscriptions across the App Store and Google Play.

Outcomes Achieved

100%Targeted Automated UI & API Testing
ZeroSelf-Managed Infrastructure
2-weekRelease Cadence

The Solution

Insighture engineered a fully serverless, event-driven architecture on AWS Lambda and Step Functions, removing the need for traditional infrastructure. Built mobile-first with TypeScript, Expo, DynamoDB and Kinde, it supports content sharing, interactive participation, rewards, personalised feeds and subscriptions. Together, these capabilities extend the value of Tifansi's existing digital fan community while the architecture scales confidently with race-day demand and future growth.

100% test automation. Zero self-managed servers.

A fully serverless architecture built on AWS to absorb every race-day traffic spike without adding operational overhead.
